I was logged onto Facebook this week and going through the normal threads like whats new in pop culture, whose together, who broke up, etc... You know what Im talking about if you have a Facebook account. Anyway Im a big fan of the movies Kung Fu Panda and I saw this picture with the quote:

without radishes and to raise you as my own son." - Mr. Ping
Though this quote was perceived as a funny liner in the movie since Po has the ability to eat all his father's radishes that he brings into his shop. But I think the deeper meaning behind this phrase is to show that when we become parents there are some things that we are going to have to sacrifice for our children's happiness and safety. It's going to be a difficult journey for those parents that want to accumulate their child's lives to fit with the routine that that parent has already created. Sacrifice will bring forth blessings to those who put their children before their own needs.
